Wish

Bruce

WISH presents the first of our ambitious three-stage revitalisation project for Bruce. This rapidly evolving suburb is home to an increasing population of young professionals and families. WISH and the neighbouring IVES development are creating opportunities for businesses to open doors on an already thriving scene.

WISH comprises 48 two- and three-bedroom townhouses and 4000m2 of commercial space. The ground level retail and commercial offerings include a day spa, Korean BBQ restaurant, Sichuan takeaway and Asian grocer.

The federal government’s Australian Institute of Health and Welfare occupies Levels 1 & 2 while the premises for TP Dynamics are on Level 3.

About Wish

WISH sits at the heart of a diverse composition of educational, medical and sports facilities.

To fully understand the opportunity that WISH presents you need to consider how unique the suburb of Bruce is. No other suburb in Canberra has two hospitals—Calvary Public Hospital and Canberra’s newest hospital at the University of Canberra. Bruce also contains the Australian Institute of Sport and Canberra Stadium, home to the Canberra Raiders and the Brumbies. In proximity to WISH are the University of Canberra and Canberra Institute of Technology as well as Radford College, a prestigious independent school.

At street level, WISH offers local workers and residents several dining options, which will soon be complemented by the retail, food and beverage offerings at the proposed commercial sites contained within the Stage 3 IVES development next door.

Location

A mere 7km northwest of the CBD, Bruce is a quiet achiever, offering easy access from Belconnen, the Inner North and the City. The mix of office, commercial, retail and residential spaces makes it a diverse precinct by day and night.

Located on Thynne Street just off Haydon Drive, WISH positions you to seize the day. Make your way to Dickson, Braddon, Westfield Belconnen and the Canberra Centre in under 10 minutes.

Stanley Bruce was Australia’s 8th prime minister and first chancellor of the Australian National University (ANU). Within walking distance, you will find Radford College, the University of Canberra, the Australian Institute of Sport and the Canberra Institute of Technology. Just minutes away are Calvary Hospital, ANU and the Canberra International Sports and Aquatic Centre.
