The newly completed Giralang Shops were officially launched in late July 2025 with a vibrant community event, marking the return of the long-awaited local retail centre in this beautiful suburb. The response was overwhelming, with residents and visitors turning out in force to explore the revitalised hub, meet the new retailers and enjoy the sense of community.

With food, giveaways, face painting, live music and more, the launch was a fantastic celebration of place and belonging. It marked a major step forward for the G+ precinct, transforming it from a construction site into a lively destination for locals and the broader community.

Several retailers are already open and trading, including a brand new IGA, a café, a tobacconist and a new barber. The Giralang Café has quickly become a favourite, known for its quality coffee, warm service and takeaway meals such as kebabs and wraps. The coming weeks will see even more exciting additions, including a full-service gym and a local restaurant.

DynamiQ Fitness, currently undergoing fitout, will soon introduce its premium wellness and training experience to Giralang. With reformer Pilates, advanced cardio equipment, immersive recovery areas and more, it is set to become a destination for fitness and wellbeing in the area. Also joining the retail mix is Hungry Beagle, a new pizza venue that will offer handmade pizzas and casual evening drinks. Fitout began in November and we can’t wait to bring delicious food and a laid-back atmosphere to the precinct.

Above the retail spaces, residents have already moved into the new apartments. Settlement at G+ is complete and a new chapter has begun for those who now call Giralang home. Blending modern living with walkable access to everyday essentials, the area is steadily evolving into a well-connected and thriving village once again.
